SHARE A COKE

Coca-Cola is one of the world’s leading beverage brands, known for creating moments of happiness and connection across generations. With a vision to refresh people and inspire optimism, the brand continues to deliver campaigns that resonate deeply with consumers.

For the 2025 Share a Coke campaign, the objective was to increase brand engagement and drive sales by transforming every bottle into a personal, shareable experience.

2. ALGORITHM MEDIA'S STRATEGIC APPROACH

We developed an integrated media strategy designed to reignite nostalgia while introducing a fresh layer of personalization that would resonate with today’s consumers.

Our approach combined traditional and digital media to create multiple touchpoints throughout the customer journey. The campaign was executed across teaser and launch phases to build anticipation, encourage social conversations, and drive nationwide participation through carefully selected media placements, influencer partnerships, and community-led experiences.

3. THE EXECUTION

Algorithm Media orchestrated a nationwide media rollout across television, radio, digital platforms, in-mall media, and outdoor advertising to ensure maximum visibility and audience engagement.

Television

The campaign launched with a TVC showcasing friends and everyday people discovering bottles with names and sharing them with each other, celebrating connection, friendship, and joyful moments. The TVC aired across national and regional stations including Africa Magic, TVC, AIT, and Arewa 24.

Radio

A series of engaging radio dramas and jingles in English and Pidgin brought the Share a coke story closer to younger audiences. Drive-time slots on Soundcity Lagos, Wazobia FM, Inspiration FM, beat Fm, Cool FM and Wazobia FM delivered high reach, while OAP-led live mentions,social media amplification and Influencer Marketing were provided for incremental engagement.

In-Mall Stores

Share a Coke ran across 10 retail stores in Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, Enugu and Port-Harcourt targeting directly with our Gen Z target audience.

OOH (Out-Of-Home)

We combined digital billboards and static hoardings across key high-traffic routes, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Ring Road Ibadan, and Abuja City Gate to build top-of-mind awareness (TOMA) throughout the campaign period.

Digital

The digital strategy included regionalized storytelling, influencer partnershipsYouTube and Facebook pre-rolls extended the reach of the Share a Coke TVC. TikTok and Instagram creators shared “#sharecoke ” challenges to drive user participation. Paid ads and sponsored posts across core audiences sustained engagement and drove sales throughout the campaign window.
